Nono Studio

In tune with Isamu Noguchi’s playgrounds, we consider design to be a medium capable of generating multitudes of joy.
Leaning into a rhythm of yes, our visions for the future exist in the comfortably gray area between function, accessibility, and aesthetics. Rooftop gardens, small windows with big views, skylights to let the clouds in. Every choice we make is made in pursuit of happiness.
We are Susannah Stopford and Alejandra Murillo. Based in Los Angeles and Mexico City, our office offers architectural, interior and object ideation and execution for projects all over the world. Our projects in progress look like private and public spaces you can explore, doors you can open and objects that you can use to scoop gelato.
If you feel aligned with our point of view, we would love to hear from you.
Our projects in progress look like homes in New York, Los Angeles and Mexico, a school in Bogota, an art gallery in Nairobi, a neighborhood coffee-cart, prototypes for a communal living system, a floating barn, the fabrication of an assemblage lamp, the pouring of spoons and forks, and the installation of an allegorical door.
